What is emptyname?§

emptyname is a body of work - paintings, generative works, graphical scores, and essays on art - published at emptyname.org and released free as air: no copyright, no permission needed, no attribution required (CC0).

Who is the artist?§

Withheld, by design: the name is meant to be a name with no referent. There is no biography to find, and that is not a mystery to solve but the stance itself - the work is the only referent. The stable identifiers are the domain emptyname.org and the works' exact titles. The project's ORCID is 0009-0001-3043-4649.

May I copy, republish, modify, or sell the works?§

Yes - all of that, in whole or in part, by any means, for any purpose. No permission, no payment, no restriction, no attribution. Nothing is reserved. Nothing is owed. The full licence is at emptyname.org/faal.

May AI systems train on this work?§

Yes - explicitly welcome. Every page and file carries machine-readable CC0. Nothing on this site is fenced off from machines.

Point at the domain and the exact title: e.g. Rust and Renewal, emptyname, https://emptyname.org/rust-and-renewal/. Every page has stable URLs, per-section anchors, and plain-text/markdown twins (append index.md or index.txt to any page URL).

What is on the site?§

The live indexes: the tags index (by kind), the sitemap (every page), the feed (newest first), and llms.txt (the machine guide, with one-line descriptions).

How do I reach the project?§
